| can't sleep. had too much coffee today. intern told me about free mocha mondays at mcdonald's, that's why.
work hasn't been crazy but i'm still up at 2:30am anyways. i'm like facebook but still like writing in here, too. i have been playing football and volleyball with dell support. made new friends because of it. this summer is one of the most active/fun summers. i had a phase where i went to the bar/club every wed, thurs, fri, sat. now this is the phase where i want to be outside, be active and go out all the time.
so i remember the first half of the year so far...
- new year's eve party at our house again,
- to nj for glo's bday party,
- leslie (matt's gf) moved to missouri instead of cali,
- to deep creek with maria and michael who is becoming chris' good friend,
- to nj for glo's bridal shower,
- to miami south beach for her bachelorette party,
- to italy with a group of 7 of us (chris, me, maria, laurie, dave, john, johnny),
- lola turned 102 this year and we were able to bring her to papa/mama's house,
- glo got married to adam,
- joined dell support to play football and volleyball,
- lots of bbq's and going out,
- cleo and sheila are so cute still,
- motoneko is stressing the sh*t out of us

| so it will be president barack obama. i'm not political so i don't really care too too much. i am happy because now there is a chance that my kid one day can be president. i think he will improve our standing in the world and i do agree with some of his policies but he is a little left for me. plus, most of the people he worked for/with AND just that city in general is very corrupt. (funny how i wrote this before and now there is that Blagojevich situation.) anyways... i hope he does well and we are better off because of him. gobama!
we still have sheila, she is huge now, still adorable and not such a pain.
cleo is awesome but a headcase because all she thinks about is playing.
lola is still in the nursing home but she can swallow a little better and she is more coherent. i have to make myself visit her more often.
work was crazy this past month and probably every night i stayed up til 2am doing work for adobe.
i went with cz, my brothers, leslie and jorge to nyc for a mini vacation before they left for cali. we stayed with jack and d and we went to sidebar to watch the manny pacquio fight. it was crazy at the bar. (jack said he watched it later by himself and it was a different experience. probably because cz wasn't yelling his ass of at the tv! heehee) i also worked during this trip and i stayed up til 5am, but at least i wasn't the only one. jake at work is like me.
i went on an eventful roadtrip or more like long drive from arizona back to maryland with maria and michelle. it was fun, hectic, long and i put pics on facebook. facebook is my new obsession but i still like writing in here, too.
we hosted christmas dinner for our families and it went well. we had homemade everything (escarole, creamed onions, mashed potatoes, poundcake, cookies) plus lechon!
we had another christmas dinner at my parents house with the aquinos which was also yummy! i love the holidays and all the food and friends and family! i've been hanging out with family and friends that are in town. i got to see my goddaughter who is a little older now and can interact with me more, she is so cute. i also love the holidays because of all the good movies. i hope to see more movies until after new year's when work will pick up again. i have to think about what my new year's resolutions are. they will probably be the same as last year...
1. visit lola every week.
2. go to the dr.and gym regularly. health is everything.
3. be a good friend which means listening and talking even if it means saying something hurtful.
4. don't complain, but compliment my family and friends.

| the economy sucks.
both presidential candidates suck. mccain has an unqualified vp (in my opinion) and obama is not as qualified as mccain (plus i don't trust his judgement, plus i don't like anything that is remotely socialistic - why would anyone want to inhibit growth or innovation?). i don't want to write in ron paul because of his gun control policy. and i know nothing about bob barr.
having no money sucks. i want to eat at nice restaurants, buy nice clothes and travel but mostly i want to buy stuff that helps other people. i can't volunteer as much because i'm always working. which sucks.
2 mortgages sucks but we can't sell the condo right now because the market sucks.
our property taxes on our condo sucks - why the hell is it ??K when the square footage is as big as a bathroom and we live in a semi-shitty neighborhood?
sheila our new puppy sucks too because she ruined our window screen, our sun deck, our carpet and our stairs.
our house sucks because it's full of dog hair and stinks like a black lab.
lola, still being at the rehabilitation center, not being able to eat yet, sucks too.
there's another way of looking at these things, but today i feel like looking at these things through sucky-colored glasses.

| This should sum up this year:
- Been MARRIED for a full year and still loving it! I guess I have to for the next 80 years or so :)
- Cooking for me and CZ is always an adventure! I cried when he took a picture of the beans still in the plastic bag cooking in the oven.
- CZ broke his legs/ankles in a motorcycle accident on the track - and is still recovering . (The track is SOOO much safer... oh really? just playin' I know it is... )
- Moved out of Baltimore City. I still miss the dorm-like life like finding porn in my neighbor's vcr...
- Moved to Columbia. Where are the sirens and gun shots I'm used to?
- Still loving Cleo! She has so much freedom and sleeps in our room and I love waking up to her kisses - sometimes it hurts because she is an 75 pound dog!
- Still loving my company! To give you an example of how people-oriented they are - they gave us a huge amount of money just because they wanted to help CZ and I out when he was hurt!
- I recently got back into piano or rather keyboard and have learned Samson by Regina Spektor, and also The Scientist by Coldplay accompanied by Johnny's guitar.
- The last thing I will remember about this year is that I have watched 2 videos that can make me barf on command - 2 girls 1 cup, and BME Pain Olympics - just a few days ago. I recorded a few people's reactions like on YouTube and J&D's reactions were the funniest because they had no reaction.
Yay! We're having a New Year's Eve party! It should be a low key but good time!

| 1st 2 weeks of the New Year 2007!
- CZ, Cleo and I went over the Johndo to celebrate New Year's Eve. it was really low key and we played a good boardgame. we stayed the night so we wouldn't have to be around the drunk city clubbers in our neighborhood.
- CZ, Cleo and I went over to his mom's house for New Year's Day dinner and my whole family came too! She prepared a lot of good food and it was a good time. I was brought back to HS when I found CZ's yearbook and I found an autograph from the girl I hated the most - Annie Shematek. She took CZ away from me when I was 16 but apparently she didn't like me much either and wrote about me 3 times.
- Ah, back to work in the office.
- tried Minato restaurant that we could walk to, pretty good. We also have a new Superfresh 2 blocks up from us - yipee!
- attended an ECO meeting on Saturday, the new guy is of course always late and it was lucky for him that i pushed him to reply to the Hedgehog Concept email since it was being used in the agenda. He doesn't seem like he wants to do anything but his work, it might be because he's young and this is his 1st job. However, I was NEVER like this at my 1st job or any other and I was pretty immature. I had to leave early to make it to Gary and Susan's New Year's dinner. They are a fun bunch, drunk or not.
- Maxxedout, Flippedman and their friend Laurie came to the house to watch a boxing fight.
